Saving savvy or does money burn a hole?

Share your tips on how we can save money if it burns a hole in the pocket especially in this current climate.  How are you coping on maybe one income, benefits etc?  Can you recommend a savings account or how to kick start saving even when you have a child.

Hi Mitsy, thanks for that link you posted.  Have you used that site?  I am kind of warey about sites like that just in case they ask for money. I have come across some sites and they have asked for payment to 'train you up'.
